This webinar will focus on explaining and differentiating the various types of porcelain tile, how they are made, their benefits, and standards. The presenter will explore test methods that can determine porcelain tile as defined by TCNA and the advancements in technology that make it a trend behind large formats. Attendees can expect to become familiar with how to evaluate proper criteria for selection while maintaining design aesthetics.

With the ease of COVID-19 restrictions, this webinar will be a hybrid event, offering limited in-person participation coupled with a virtual broadcast. Registration/check-in is at 11 a.m. ET. Presenter bio:

Glen Brewer is an executive with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industries. He is a current IDC board member, representing Industry. Glen is also IDC’s Industry committee chair and leads IDC’s Sales Professionals Training Courses. Glen is a strong advocate for designers and the design community as an author, teacher, and presenter for IDCEC CEUs. He is an active participant in IDC’s national DesignEX shows as both a speaker/presenter and table-top attendee. Glen’s many national speaking engagements include events like the Building Show, IIDEX, and various TTMAC events. Glen also mentors and speaks to many emerging design professionals, most recently at Conestoga College. As President of Midgley Tecnica, Glen, along with the support of his company, is a strong advocate of IDC as an Industry Partner member.
