On March 8, IDC hosted the first of its two west coast Industry Sales Professional Course (ISPC) panels, bringing together IDC members, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry representatives in Vancouver, B.C.

The event was held in the beautiful Cantu Bathrooms & Hardware showroom, who were the generous sponsors of this event. “Connecting people of varied backgrounds of expertise, from renowned individuals in the industry to up-and-coming Designers, these sessions are a great way to collectively bring a better understanding of our world and meet new amazing people,” says Maxwell Azuma, Customer Service Representative for Cantu.

A panel discussion on the topic of ‘Investigating the New Normal,’ was moderated by CEO Trevor Kruse in conversation with Karl Travis, Partner at Hager Design International Inc., Michele Sigurdson, Principal at DIALOG, and Brett Stenner, President at CI Partners.

This course, which is tailored exclusively to meet the needs of architecture and design industry sales professionals, featured a Q&A session with the panel, who offered helpful tips on how their firms operate and how to join their network of trusted industry resources.

“The different perspectives in design allow the industry to continue evolving which is very exciting to witness” says Siobhan Denny, Cantu Sales Coordinator.

The second Vancouver offering of the ISPC will be held on April 14 at the Global Furniture Group showroom in Vancouver, following the IDC/IIDA Leaders Breakfast the previous day, on April 13.

Participants who join both ISPC events in Vancouver (March 8 and April 14) will receive an official ISPC certificate and LinkedIn designation. Panelists for the second ISPC offering will be announced soon.

IDC thanks Cantu Bathrooms & Hardware for supporting and giving back to the industry.
