Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) is closely monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and wants to assure members that everyone’s health and safety is of highest importance to us.
In response to the changing nature of current events, and recommendations from Health Canada and the World Health Organization (WHO), IDC has had to cancel or postpone some upcoming events, including:
- DesignEx event in Halifax, N.S.
- DesingEx event in Edmonton, Alta.
- Industry Sales Professionals Course in Winnipeg, Man.
- Presentations at Ontario schools and universities
- Industry Lunch and Learns throughout the GTA
We continue to monitor the situation and hope that fall events will take place as scheduled, including IDC’s Design Symposium, which is scheduled for Sept. 21-23, 2020 in Toronto, Ont. We will continue our ongoing communication efforts to ensure that members are continuously updated on the current status and any changes, as they happen in the coming months. We are closely monitoring information from the Government of Canada and WHO.
