U: By Design Program

U: By Design Studio Workshop is designed to help youth develop a vision for their future. The program, created by Decanthropy, engages participants in design thinking and how to apply the process to create an action plan for life.
The workshop provides tools to practice design thinking in an interactive setting that engages the imagination to help hone leadership skills and expose participants to creative professions as potential career opportunities to pursue.
IDC’s President, Ian Rolston is a Design Optimist and Lead Decanthropist who leads the workshop. He is a speaker, creative strategist, design leader, and the creator of Decanthropy, an equity design consultancy determined to change our world.
This U: By Design Studio Workshop will be delivered in partnership with the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment.
