IDC launches new website at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

Published by Julia Salerno, October 05, 2010.

Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) launched its new website and visual identity at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, September 23 and 24, in Toronto. The association recently underwent a restructuring aimed at strengthening the voice of the interior design community in Canada. With the restructuring came the need for a new visual identity and expanded website.

The new website is dynamic and fully bilingual. It is designed to be user friendly and will serve as an important resource for members and the public. Members can stay current with respect to Association and industry news, changes or updates in regulations, or upcoming events and seminars. They can get information that's useful to the operation of their business, access an archive of the Association's publications, and find out what's happening in their local regions.

Individuals and companies looking to hire an interior designer for their next project will find DesignFIND, our online referral program, invaluable. The site will also feature a number of articles aimed at educating the public about interior design. For the aspiring interior designer, the site contains detailed information about the educational and experiential requirements to become a professional interior designer, and outlines the benefits of membership in the Association.

"We are very excited to lhave aunched our new website," says Susan Wiggins, executive director. "It's one of the best ways we have of keeping our members informed and of raising the profile of IDC nationally and internationally."

IDC's new logo was created by xquisit communications in Ottawa. The website was created by xquisit's partner company, ignite web solutions.
