IIDEXCanada 2016 wrap-up

Published by Patrick Voisin, December 14, 2016.

IIDEXCanada 2016 was one of the most highly attended events in our 32-year history and we have already begun planning for 2017. Our conference and expo opened to great success with attendees filling the Keilhauer Keynote Theatre to witness this year’s keynotes talk about their design philosophies, influence and where they see the industry going. The National Summits on Big Issues brought together leaders working at the intersection of design and critical thought to engage in thoughtful dialogue on how to bring together the many voices that comprise our design culture.

One of our most compelling features was our Totally Tubular exhibit—a hit with attendees that were able to explore some of the latest award-winning products from leading global design firms in a concept space designed by IA | Interior Architects. Attendees were also able to participate in thought-provoking and inspiring seminars, and discover great new products from over 500 Canadian and international exhibitors. After an eventful and fast-paced day one, everyone capped off the night with the Canadian Interiors Best of Design awards presentation and Opening Night Party on the show floor.

For next year, we want to better our best with even more amazing events and features on our show floor and throughout Toronto! Make sure to save the date for IIDEXCanada 2017 happening November 29 to November 30. Register for the IIDEXCanada newsletter to receive the latest show news and developments for 2017.
