“Good habits formed at youth make all the difference.” – Aristotle

IDC recognizes that the future of our profession in Canada lies with our emerging professionals. With the great success of our past two PROpel conferences, Montreal in 2015 and Ottawa in 2016, we will be PROpelling even further in 2017, with another amazing group of designers.

Providing our emerging professionals with the tools, skills and opportunities to excel in the profession is very important to us. We want to guide them down the right path of becoming Registered interior designers and help grow our profession to new heights. During the conference they participate in discussions, social events and fun activities. All those involved leave the conference feeling refreshed and inspired, ready to take on new challenges and initiatives.

Leading the way in 2017 will be our four top Elite VIPs, individuals who created amazing compilation videos of their time at the 2016 conference. They will be our ambassadors for next year's conference providing insight and mentoring all of our new emerging professionals.

Congratulations to:

Darren Gee
Erin Riediger
Miranda Young
Carley A. Berko

“At PROpel 2016 I learned a great deal about industry trends, inspiration, technology and the future of our practice. The conference helped me to build a larger network outside the city I practice in. I look forward to being one of PROpel 2017’s Elite VIP and continuing to build a strong nation wide network of interior designers.” – Erin Riediger

Stay tuned for more news on the 2017 PROpel conference!
