Are you writing the NCIDQ Exam this fall?

The NCIDQ Certification is the mark of a professional interior designer and demonstrates that you have been educated, trained and examined to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.

If you’re gearing up to take the fall NCIDQ Exam, here are a couple of things you should know.

First of all
, note that the deadline to apply for all three sections is June 1.
For IDFX only, the deadline to apply is August 1.

Secondly, make sure you have the following documents on hand to include with your online application:

  • Official copy of transcripts
  • Direct supervision work experience verification form
  • Sponsored work experience verification form
  • Three references

Thirdly, be sure to attend an NCDIQ practice session hosted by IDC.
Starting in August, these sessions provide an overview of the NCIDQ exam including study tips, helpful handouts, and exam writing strategies. Keep checking back on the IDC events calendar to find a session near you.
