IDC to participate in federal government workshop

Published by Julia Salerno, October 25, 2010.

IDC will participate in the Real Property National Workshop, November 24 and 25, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, presented by the Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC). Innovating in Today's Environment is the theme of the workshop, which will focus on innovative approaches to real property management in support of the federal government's plans and priorities. The workshop will explore topics such as developing partnerships with various levels of government, universities and the private sector; sustainability; clean energy; planning; investment; contract management; and, Aboriginal consultation strategies.

The purpose of IDC's participation is to introduce federal public sectors like management, real estate, and policy makers to the possibility of working with a professional interior designer. We will be exploring and developing relationships with workshop attendees, with a focus on who we are and why they should work with an interior designer. We are excited about the opportunity to network at this workshop and promote the profession. For more information visit the RPIC website.
