Danish-Canadian Interior Design Mission

Published by Julia Salerno, October 25, 2010.

The Royal Danish Consulate General and IDC are pleased to invite you to join the Danish-Canadian Interior Design Tour to Denmark. The purpose of the tour is to gain and share inspiration, create opportunities for partnerships, and to increase your knowledge of Danish manufacturers and suppliers who can support your future projects. There will be a focus on public spaces, including corporate offices, health care, retail design, hotels and restaurants. You will meet some of the best Danish designers and see the latest in Danish design.

In close partnership with IDC, The Royal Danish Consulate General offers this unique study tour from December 4 to 10, 2010 in Denmark. The tour is limited to 15 interior designers from Canada, so it is important that you apply today! The deadline for applications is November 5, 2010. Download the Tour Application Form.

Approved delegates will be subsidized for all hotel, meal and local travel costs. The sum of $2,000 per delegate is required to cover economy airfare and airport transfers in Denmark.

The Royal Danish Consulate General has been heavily involved in the architectural community in Canada over the last five years. As well as working on a large number of individual projects, The Royal Danish Consulate General has also conducted several successful study tours, including sustainable architecture tours together with RAIC and tours for the key Canadian press. Joint projects have included, Super Danish at AGO, and The Copenhagen Experience. Read John Hobb's article on the RAIC mission.
