Ontario professor seeks assistance with completing research thesis

This is an invitation to participate in a survey for a research study being conducted by Dale Landry, Professor of Interior Design, Fanshawe College. The data collected will be used for her thesis document towards a Master of Science in Architecture with a specialization in Interior Design degree form the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Dale's research study is titled:

Encouraging Creativity in the Workplace through the Physical Office Environment: Focusing on the Office Workstation.

Purpose of the Research:

People can be creative anywhere but how can designers and organizations encourage this process to occur at an office workstation through the physical work environment? The purpose of this study is to explore what conditions of the physical workplace the users of these workstations perceive enhances their creativity. The information collected in the study will be used for the investigator’s thesis document towards a Master of Science in Architecture with a Specialization in Interior Design degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. You will be informed at a later date on how to access Dale Landry’s thesis document when it is complete.


Participation in this survey will require approximately 20 minutes of your time for the short answers and up to an additional 20 minutes on the optional narrative component. You do not have to answer all the questions presented in this survey.
