Ryerson student wins North American Hospitality design competition

Fourth-year Ryerson interior design student, Laura Carwardine was recently invited to attend the Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas for her winning "what if" design idea, 4D Cube, an automated hotel tower that attaches to the flight gates of airports. Her winning design is indented as a short-stay airport hotel designed for the ultimate travel experience.

Her unique idea won her the Student Judges Special Award in the Radical Innovation and Hospitality competition, a North American challenge for the hospitality design industry. In addition to the award and a free ticket to Vegas, Carwardine won $1, 500.
