Interior design’s impact on health and community at Design & Health, 10th World Congress & Exhibition

Toronto will host the prestigious International Academy for Design and Health’s 10th World Congress (WCDH 2014) from July 9 to 13 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. As the premiere thought leadership event in the field, WCDH 2014 attracts the world’s leading researchers and practitioners who will share best practices, learning and science on the global application of salutogenic perspectives for improving human health, wellbeing and quality of life by design.

This five-day Congress includes: a three day conference, awards ceremony, product exhibition, networking events, a full day of site visits plus a pre-congress symposium on Healthy Cities 2030.

Join IDC and ASID on Wednesday, July 9 for Design & Health, 10th World Congress & Exhibition as North America’s interior design associations lead a discussion on interior design’s impact on health and community as part of a pre-congress symposium.

The discussion will explore how interior designers impact occupant health and quality of life in the workplace and the vital role interior designers play in building relationship with clients to understand their needs, business objectives, and strategies that affect productivity, happiness, innovation and overall well-being. The discussion will be moderated by ASID CEO, Randy Fiser. Session speakers are Lisa Fulford-Roy, IDC, ‎Senior Vice President, Client Strategy, Strategic Accounts and Consulting at HOK and Rita Carson, FASID.
