Published by Alexandra Tichinoff, December 21, 2012.

Have you considered participation in an international trade mission?  IDC is pleased to offer three international trade missions in the first quarter of 2013.

March 8-15
In partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs & International Trade, 15 members who are interested in expanding their business into South America will visit Santiago, Chile and Sao Paolo, Brazil.  Meetings will be organized with Canadian Trade Officers and local developers. Site visits will be planned to learn about South American design.

April 6-14
IDC and IIDEX are organizing a Canadian Pavilion of manufacturers and suppliers at Salone Internationale del Mobilia in Milan, Italy.  Alongside the pavilion we are inviting interior designers who are interested in experiencing the world's largest international furniture fair and offsite events in Tortona to attend.  Experience a week of design like none other.  At this event, you will have a chance to market your firm to the many visitors to the international pavilion.

May 13 - 17
In partnership with the Danish Consulate, a group of 15 interior designers will participate in the 3rd annual tour to experience the best in Danish design.  The week will feature meetings with several manufacturers and a number of site visits.

Watch the February newsletter for more details on upcoming missions. If you require details in the meantime for planning purposes, please contact Irma Kemp at ikemp@idcanada.org or Susan Wiggins at swiggins@idcanada.org.
