APDIQ officially become Full members of the Association

Published by Julia Salerno, December 21, 2011.

On April 29, 2011, a decision was made that would change the strength and voice of the interior design profession in Canada. At APDIQ's (Association professionelle des designers d'intérieur du Québec) Annual General Meeting, 98 per cent of members in attendance voted in favour of becoming Full members of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) as of January 1, 2012. The more than three hundred (and growing) members of APDIQ are testament to the importance of standards-a decision that holds true to the importance and need for the rigorous process of education, experience and examination. Moving forward, the recognition of interior designers in Canada is best achieved through cohesion and that is exactly what we are today, a strong and unified voice for the profession. Welcome APDIQ!
