IDC invites you on an interior design Mission to Denmark

The Royal Danish Consulate General and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) are pleased to invite you to join the 2012 Danish-Canadian Interior Design Tour to Denmark. The purpose of the tour is to gain and share inspiration, create opportunities for partnerships and to increase your knowledge of Danish manufacturers and suppliers who can support your future projects.

The focus will be on public spaces, including: corporate offices, retail design, hotels and restaurants. You will meet some of the best Danish designers and see the latest in Danish design.

In close partnership with IDC, The Royal Danish Consulate General offers this unique study tour from April 28 to May 4, 2012 in Denmark. The tour is limited to a maximum of 18 Canadian interior designers, be one of the18 interior designers to join IDC President, Donna Assaly in Denmark- Apply today!

Deadline for applications is February 17, 2012

All approved delegates will be subsidized for hotel, meal and local travel costs during the visit. The cost of this Tour is $2,100. The cost includes round-trip airfare from Toronto to Copenhagen, five nights hotel, ground transportation, all meals and guided tours. Download the Application Form.

The Tour will be packed with inspiring visits and great experiences, and you will be able to extend your flight ticket to allow some extra days to stay and discover Copenhagen on your own terms. The opportunity to bring a partner may be available based on the number of interior designers attending. The cost to bring a partner is $3, 500.

The Royal Danish Consulate General has been heavily involved in the architectural and design communities in Canada over the last five years. As well as working on a large number of individual projects, The Royal Danish Consulate General has also conducted several successful study tours, including: last year's IDC Denmark Study Tour, Sustainable Architecture Tours together with Architecture Canada | RAIC and tours for the key Canadian press. Joint projects have included, Super Danish at AGO, and the Copenhagen Experience.
