ARIDO's Grand Valley Chapter, along with The Grand Valley Society of Architects joined together on December 2 for a wonderful evening to celebrate the holiday season.

The award-winning Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo was a stunning venue appreciated by both architects and designers alike.
The evening began with a selection of Christmas music played on Violin & Cello while members of both associations re-connected with their peers. The acoustics in the Gallery carried the sounds of the duet beautifully throughout the space.

Representatives from the event's sponsors, Tony Scola from Bakers atWork, Robert Ryl of Haworth and Peter McNeilly representing Green River Sales, mingled with the guests throughout the evening. Guests brought along items from the 'most needed' list for local charity ROOF (Reaching Our Outdoor Friends). Sponsorship money was shared between ROOF and The Clay and Glass Gallery.

Guests also purchased tickets for door prizes provided for the evening by Miele Gallery, Decorator's Corner and Karen Wilson Interior Design among others. Secrets of past, present and future were also discovered throughout the evening with our Mystical entertainment, a Palm Reader, an Angel and Guide Medium, and an Ancient Celtic Runes card Reader. A fabulous dinner was served by Gusto Catering.

Both GVC and GVSA are looking forward to planning more events together in the future! View images of Mystical Christmas, here.
