The Designer Survivor Tour makes their second appearance at the Ride to Conquer Cancer

The Designer Survivor Tour took to their bikes again this year for the 4th annual BC Ride to Conquer Cancer benefitting the BC Cancer Foundation.  Our team of seven riders braved some seriously soggy weather to ride over 250 km from Vancouver to Seattle over two days.

Returning members Mark Smith of Monk office Interiors and myself welcomed Brenda DeWynter of Leisch Office Interiors, Kimberly Dodge of Division 9, Roselyne Rheaum of J.C. Scott Design Associates, Krystle Schofield of Herman Miller and her husband Eric Schofield. I felt so privileged to ride with this fantastic group of people, they really pushed themselves through some horrible riding conditions and were smiling and laughing the whole way.

In order to participate, each rider must raise a minimum of $2500 but we took it a step further with team funds totaling over $23,000.00 this year. The team has raised nearly $45,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation in the two years that we’ve participated in the event.  We would like to extend a huge thank you to IDIBC and all of our sponsors, donors and volunteers for their time and generosity this year – this accomplishment is as much yours as it is ours.  Thank you.
