IDC and Restaurants Canada launch new collaboration at the 2016 Restaurants Canada Show

Joining forces for the first time, Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and Restaurants Canada are pleased to announce a new partnership at the Restaurants Canada Show, taking place February 28 to March 1, 2016.

This new collaboration aims to highlight the role and importance of interior design in the hospitality sector and to foster knowledge sharing, innovation and growth within the Canadian design landscape.

“We’re excited to be working with IDC to unleash the potential of hospitality in our country,” says Donna Dooher, President and CEO of Restaurants Canada. “Our partnership at the Restaurants Canada show will bring together industry professionals under one roof to share ideas, ignite new trends and create the platform for the industry to succeed.”

As the largest event of its kind in Canada, the Restaurants Canada Show is responsible for bringing the foodservice industry together for three days of inspiring talks, high profile competitions, demonstrations and workshops. IDC is pleased to be joining the show and, for the first time, adding two exciting events to the schedule: an educational seminar presented by SRP Architects and an inspiring keynote presentation featuring a project case-study by Studio Munge.

The new partnership will encourage networking between designers and restauranteurs as well as allow IDC to advocate on behalf of great hospitality design.
