    This one-hour webinar discusses, in general terms, the principle theories of the application of Part 11 “Renovations” of the 2012 Ontario Building Code (OBC). Specifically, topics such as basic vs. extensive renovation, hazard index and construction index application, the use of compliance alternatives related to the proposed scope of work and conditions in which non-barrier-free buildings and/or floor areas must accommodate limited barrier-free OBC requirements, will be reviewed.

It is the largest and oldest engineering firm in Canada that specializes exclusively in these services. Lisa Miller is a graduate of Conestoga College (Architecture-Construction Engineering Technology) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Based out of LRI’s Toronto office, Lisa has over 11 years of experience in building code and fire protection engineering on a wide variety of buildings. Lisa’s extensive knowledge and project experience, ranging in size and scope, has enabled her to lead the LRI team on numerous complex building projects.
