    In this one-hour seminar, attendees will learn about door safety and security issues as well as the life safety specifications for the door openings of schools, nursing homes, hospitals and commercial buildings.  Learn how to create and maintain a safe environment for all occupants entering, exiting and residing within these facilities.

    Eric has been a contributor to both the commercial ICI and residential construction industry for over 20 years. In his youth, he spent his summers producing construction  rawings both by hand and on AutoCAD for a small local construction company. Eric has experience in all areas of construction including: fire alarms and security, millwork, furniture building, upholstery, drywall, plastering, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, and doors and hardware - including their codes and design requirements. Eric is currently a member of the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI).

    The latest trends and technical information is presented in this CEU. Topics include definitions of thru-body, colour-body, and glazed porcelain tiles with emphasis on technical and aesthetic qualities. The latest design trends are presented, including the latest tiles from Italy.

    Glen has over 20 years experience in the ceramic and porcelain tile industry.  His career includes working with some of the largest and leading trend-setting manufacturers. Glen has been a consultant working with some of the largest design and architectural firms in North America and spoken at various functions and events. He is currently Vice-President at Ceragres Tile Group based in Toronto.
