Body Language: The Science of Silence and the Client Meeting (5 ARIDO CEUs)

This seminar is back by popular demand. It was originally offered on November 16, 2013.

Last Chance to Register: Thursday, November 14, 2013.idc_conversationstarter_img.jpg

Studies have shown that we communicate largely through body language, especially when emotion is involved. Since many achievements at work (and play), depend on how well you interact with others, it is critical that you learn how to identify, decode and react to the positive or negative emotions of others.  This allows you to compare what someone says with what they show in their gestures, body movements and facial expressions, and the difference can prove invaluable. As you become more aware of these gestures, you can employ them in your interactions to achieve better results in the workplace. In short, you can learn to guide conversations in the direction of your choice. This session includes group exercises, live demonstrations and video examples.
