The IES Toronto Section is working to further the Mission and Vision of the Illuminating Engineering Society by hosting an LED Expo in partnership with Evergreen Brick Works. The goal of the event is to provide both professionals (architects, interior designers, engineers) and the general public with relevant and useful information about LEDs through seminars and an LED Expo. The primary goal of this event is education. Our secondary goal is raising funds to provide lighting for the common area of Brick Works.

In April 2013 the Toronto IES Emerging Professionals held an"Illumination Challenge" at Brick Works.  The winning team's design will be displayed at the LED Expo.  Elements of this design will be incorporated into the final installation and the EPs will be given the opportunity to work with a professional team.
