Attend an Eames Demetrios Workshop | Powers of Ten

Workshop taking place at IIDEX Canada, at Direct Energy Center, 100 Princes' Blvd., Exhibition Place, Toronto.

What is scale? Scale is not just the size of things, it is the relative size of things.Eames Workshop

One way of getting a handle on scale is to consider what happens when you add another zero to a number, or take it away. This methodology is called Powers of Ten thinking. It has been employed by the Eames family throughout the years not only as a means for understanding interior design, but also the larger world. During this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to the concept of Powers of Ten through an informative video followed by interactive exercises to help you understand the power of scale.

At the end of this workshop, you will have a clearer understanding of how scale can be employed in your practice as an interior designer, and also its impact on the larger world in which you live.
