    The landscape for the development of new healthcare facilities in Ontario is evolving, with new financing structures and increased emphasis on improving health and environmental performance.

    This event will provide healthcare facility leaders responsible for the planning and delivery of capital projects with a foundation for realizing better performance outcomes from new facility design and retrofit projects.

    We’ll explore how design supports better operations, productivity and patient care, and how those best practices are incorporated and ensured from concept to project completion.

    Session 2: Sustainable design for optimal patient and staff well-being

    Session 3: Realizing advanced performance objectives through the healthcare development process

    Learn how sustainable and human-centered design are presented, interpreted and reflected in both Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) and traditional models. Incentives and disincentives inherent in each model and strategies employed to address project objectives will be discussed.
