IDC Seminar: Catch Up on Lighting

Seminar #1: HEALTHY LIGHTING FOR SENIOR LIVING
(1 hour of self-directed learning or 1 IDIBC CEU)

As we age, the physical and aesthetic manners in which we see are altered. A mature eye requires more light to function while being increasingly more sensitive to glare. This session will discuss some of the physiologies of this change and explore avenues to combat the changes in both institutional and residential applications. Awareness, empathy and knowledge is the key to lighting solutions for the aging eye.
