SPEAKER KAREN RICE
ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT REPERSENTATIVE

Karen spent 10 years in Advertising, sitting in a cubicle office environment.  In 2011 she began a sales role at a national furniture dealership, where she developed a passion for creating a more comfortable place to work. Collaborating with designers and clients on a number of terrific projects in and around Vancouver, Karen saw that the most important thing that determined success (apart from meeting the move-in deadline) was when the client had an immediate feeling of wellbeing in the new space.

Having partnered with Humanscale on a number of projects, Karen joined their team in 2013 providing ergonomic consulting to designers, furniture dealers and clients throughout BC.  Humanscale has built a solid reputation as the leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, high-performance ergonomic solutions.
