Benchmarking & Best Practices Survey deadline extended

Published by Julia Salerno, October 04, 2011.

In collaboration with Canadian Interiors magazine, IDC will launch the Canadian Interior Design Benchmarking and Best Practices Survey, a significant research initiative that will benefit interior design practices across the country. Research firm G. Bramm & Associates are now managing the data collection and tabulation of the survey using your responses to date.

If you haven't already filled out the survey, please take the time to do so as the deadline has now been extended to October 21. The survey should take approximately 25 minutes to complete and only one survey needs to be completed per firm, coordinated by firm principals. If your firm has more than one office, the survey should be completed by the firm's head office.

The survey will help IDC determine the state of the profession ranging from firm size, billing practices, staff compensation and benefits packages, and firm demographics, like location, and specialization. As a way of thanking all firms that complete this survey, we are offering a significant cost savings, making the report available for $89. For more information on this survey, please contact Susan Wiggins at swiggins@idcanada.org.
