Introducing your new bi-weekly source for News + PD

Published by Sarah Bradbury, January 08, 2015.

You might be noticing that our newsletter looks a little different.

That’s because we’ve been working hard to make our member communications more compelling. We know that you are highly visual, creative, and business-oriented professionals and we want our communications to reflect those characteristics.

Perhaps the biggest change of all is that our new newsletter will now incorporate all of our Professional Development (PD) offerings. Yes, you heard us right: there will be no more PD Bulletins. Instead, we’ve created a clean, fresh way of delivering all your news and PD opportunities – in one place! We’ve added image thumbnails, colour-coded province and city bars, course levels, numbers of IDCEC and HSW hours, and clear descriptions of the type of opportunity.

We’ve also added images to grab your attention, tags to help you zero in on custom content, and catchy headlines and teaser sentences to give you a taste of what each article is all about. We’ve also come up with a fun way to share images, event summaries, and provincial news in our brand-new Community Pages section – be sure to scroll through the entire newsletter to see all the new additions!

We bring you all this in an effort to create more visually-appealing, user-friendly, and timely e-communications. And remember, just like the old PD Bulletin, you’ll receive the new newsletter every other Thursday, so you won’t miss out on anything.

We hope you love your new newsletter as much as we do! Let us know at communications@idcanada.org.
