CIDA seeks your input

Published by Sarah Bradbury, April 27, 2015.

The Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) is inviting the interior design community to comment on the first draft of Professional Standards 2017. Your input is needed to refine and validate the educational expectations for interior design graduates who will be entering the field in 2017 and beyond.

The slated period for review of the current draft standards is April 15 through June 16. We encourage you to review the standards and provide your input. This is your chance to help influence and shape the future of interior design practice and higher education.

For anyone who is interested in learning more about the standards, IDC will be hosting a webinar on May 26 at 3 p.m. ET. A representative from CIDA will present the new standards and then invite you to provide your input. Comments must be received in the CIDA office no later than June 16, 2015.
