Canada’s interior design community shoots and scores for charity

Published by Alexandra Tichinoff, October 03, 2012.

The annual chair hockey tournament was more competitive than ever at IIDEX this year with Interface and Hitplay’s team Florplay winning in the championship game against The Lively Bunch made up of Haworth and Brigholme. The exciting final game took place on Queen Street west at the Gladstone café, Friday September 21.  Participants celebrated by attending the Fender Bender party held that evening at the Gladstone Hotel across the street. Other winners included POI and Steelcase’s team Mother Puckers who won the award for Best Fanzone while runners up The Lively Bunch won the Best Jersey award.

This year, $13,000 was raised and we are excited to announce that the proceeds will be divided between two very important causes, the IDC Foundation and Helmets to Hardhats, a new national non-profit organization dedicated to helping Canada’s soldiers make the transition from active service to rewarding careers in the construction industry.
