IIDA/IDC Toronto Leaders Breakfast tickets now on sale

Published by Sarah Brown, October 24, 2011.

Individual tickets are now on sale for the annual IDC/IIDA Leaders Breakfast, Friday, December 2 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Toronto. This year's keynote speaker is Janice Price, President and CEO of Luminato, Toronto's Festival of Arts & Creativity. It is an event not to be missed by key business leaders. Join us and be inspired.

Janice Price is a Toronto-born arts producer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the performing arts arena. She was appointed first CEO of Luminato, Toronto's Festival of Arts & Creativity, in 2006. The festival celebrates the arts and is dedicated to showcasing the best of Canada and the world in one place, at one time, every year.

This year's honouree is IDC's very own Executive Director, Susan Wiggins. Susan has worked tirelessly on behalf of the interior design profession. From 2001 to 2009, Susan was Executive Director for the Association of Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO), during which time she celebrated such accomplishments as getting the Ontario Practice Act to second reading in 2006 and spearheading a restructuring of interior design provincial associations in an effort to create a strong, unified voice for the profession across Canada. Her new role as Executive Director of Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) has allowed Susan to represent the profession nationally and internationally, serving on a number of local, provincial and national committees, while focusing on government relations, volunteer development and strategic management.

Copies of Janice Price's new book, Luminato: Painting the Canvass of a City will be available for purchase. Immediately following the Leaders Breakfast, Janice will be on hand to sign her new book.

Don't miss the opportunity to network and socialize with more than 300 members of the design community. Attendees will include leading interior designers and architects, manufacturers and suppliers, as well as representatives from government and the media.

Visit IDC's Calendar of Events for more information, to purchase your tickets/table, or to sponsor the 2011 IIDA/IDC Toronto Leaders Breakfast.
