PWGSC publishes report “Integral to the Economy, Integral to Procurement – 2012 Study of Participation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Federal Procurement”

Published by Candis Green, April 29, 2013.

The report entitled Integral to the Economy, Integral to Procurement – 2012 Study of Participation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Federal Procurement is a result of consultations conducted by the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises and Strategic Engagement (OSME-SE) from June – September 2012 via an online questionnaire.  The questionnaire was open to companies of all sizes in all industries.

OSME-SE was provided with a solid base of data that is facilitating its efforts to improve access for SMEs and to reduce barriers to federal procurement for all suppliers.  Please click here to view the report. This report can also be found in “Surveys and Data” in the Member Resources centre of the IDC website.

OSME-SE is a regional office within PWGSC which can help suppliers connect with federal procurement opportunities.

OSME-SE is encouraged by the responses and hopes to undertake similar studies in the future.  If you would like additional information regarding the consultation or this report, please contact OSME-SE via email at osmepd.bpmedp@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.
