Important NCIDQ change for IDC members

Published by Julia Salerno, April 27, 2011.

IDCEC is working on providing a registry service for the Interior Design Community. In advance of the launch of this new IDCEC CEU registry, IDC recommends that if you file your points with NCIDQ, you should retrieve your transcripts from NCIDQ in order to be sure that your information is complete, not lost, or inaccessible.

As of June 2011 NCIDQ will no longer accept paper registrations for CEU transcripts. Active NCIDQ Certificate holders will be able to register CEUs directly online using their MyNCIDQ account. This is a free service for Certificate holders.

Inactive Certificate holders or non-Certificate holders may continue to submit course activity until the end of June 2011. If you fall into either one of the above categories, you're encouraged to obtain a copy of your transcript as soon as possible. Inactive Certificate holders are granted amnesty this year and may reactivate their Certificate for a fee of $90. For more information regarding these changes visit the NCIDQ website at: NCIDQ.org.
