2011 Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards for Elite

Published by Julia Salerno, June 29, 2011.

In countries around the world, especially in the Asia-Pacific region where industrialization and urbanization processes are accelerated, the rapid increase in building energy consumption, resource constraints and the contradictions of rapid economic growth have become increasingly more challenging to deal with. Under these global constraints, creating more comfortable, energy reducing, environmental protection and sustainable living spaces that reflect good design becomes extraordinarily more significant.

The Asia Pacific Design Centre, along with the Asia Pacific Federation of Interior Designers, recently launched an Awards program in Hangzhou, China and invites IDC members to enter their projects. Entries will be accepted until August 1, 2011 and winners will be celebrated at an international awards presentation in China in October.

Interested designers should visit the program website for more information and to fill out a Participating Entry Form. Entries must have been completed prior to January, 2010. Visit: www.apdesigncenter/events.com for more information on submission guidelines and categories, or download the PDF document.
