IDC Student member writes essay about her Taipei experience

Published by Julia Salerno, November 29, 2011.

Last year IDC presented its Student members with a unique travel experience through IFI (International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers) to attend IFI's Young Designers Workshop as part of its WING (World Designers for a New Generation) program. Twenty-one students were selected from dozens of international applications to attend the Workshop in Taipei, Taiwan, including six Canadian students. Rachael Cyr from Toronto's Academy of Design, RCC Institute of Technology was one of the six selected. Read Rachael's short article on her Taipei experience and participate in IDC's blog discussion on the value of international travel as a student.

Congratulations to all six Canadian students who attended IFI's Workshop:
Georgia Bernette Belliveau, Ryerson University; Allison Craig, Sheridan College; Rachael Cyr, Academy of Design, RCC Institute of Technology; Suzanne Juliette Khan, Ryerson University; and Catherine Langlois, La Cite College.
