It’s always a welcomed gesture when members of the community get together to help those in need. Recently the ARIDO GTA chapter charitable committee worked on an improvement project of the Fred Victor women’s day program center located on 67 Adelaide st. in downtown Toronto.

Fred Victor provides under-privileged women with basic necessities such as food and clothing in addition to numerous daily activities and support programs. Although the day programs were well established and running smoothly there was a need to upgrade the functionality and aesthetics of the facility.

In collaboration with numerous suppliers, manufacturers and trades, the charitable committee transformed the 2200 ft centre into a clean, organized and inspiring space. With new paint, custom millwork, office furniture and accessories the renovated office, classroom and multipurpose room are now much improved and appropriately support both staff and daily visitors.

On November 13the Fred Victor team hosted an event in celebration of their new space and to thank each sponsor. The event was well attended with women eager to offer their words of appreciation for the work completed.

A big thank you goes out to all the sponsors for their support:
