Are you an up-and-coming interior design professional?
Show us you have what it takes to be one of Canada’s Top 5 for 2013!

IDC’s Top 5 Under 5 competition highlights the talent of Canada’s emerging interior design professionals. Are you an Intern/Provisional members within the first five years of your career? If so, talk to your boss about entering this year’s competition.

Five winners will receive an all expenses paid trip to IIDEX Canada in Toronto in September to receive their award and will be featured in Canadian Interiors magazine.

There are two easy steps to enter:

1- Complete the application form and Employer Support form. Please note that to be eligible, you require your employer’s support, and your employer must be a registered interior designer, architect or NCIDQ certificate holder.

2- Submit your solution to a client’s design challenge. This year’s challenge takes you to Nepal, where you will design a retail and community space for women who are improving their lives through education and economic empowerment.

IDC's Top 5 Under 5 Awards gives IDC Intern/Provisional members time to shine.

Every year, leading up to IIDEX Canada, IDC accepts entries from Intern/Provisional Members of their provincial association within the first five years of their professional experience - individuals well on their way to establishing themselves as qualified, successful professionals in their field. Five national winners are selected based on glowing recommendations from their supervisors as well as their unique solutions to a design concept dilemma.
