Seminar delivery
Continuing education is extremely important to interior design professionals. There is a constant, ongoing need to educate members, whether on sustainability, lighting or building code. IDC is always looking for new seminars, new content and new venues to deliver education at the local level.
Providing superior continuing education courses is an aim consistent with the overall educational mission and purpose of IDC and IDCEC. Courses can be approved through the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC). IDCEC is made up of experts from three Interior Design organizations, ASID, IDC and IIDA. If you are interested in presenting a seminar, conference, webinar and/or article IDC can help you through the approval process. Submit your paperwork to Brynell D'Mello at bdmello@idcec.org to facilitate the review process. The IDCEC Presenter's Guide describes in detail what you need to supply to us. Reviewers use the standards described in the manual when they evaluate your course. Additional information can be obtained at the Interior Design Continuing Education Council website at idcec.org. Click on the ‘CE Provider' tab.
