This two-hour webinar is designed for all interior design professionals who wish to have a full working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code requirements applicable to Business and Mercantile occupancies. It will address items such as public corridors, means of egress, washrooms and much more. Attendees will also learn how to prepare Code compliant designs. This course is designed as a lecture, with time at the end for questions and discussion. A multiple choice questionnaire follows each section.

Amy Pothier, Building Code Consultant from Larden Muniak Consulting Inc.

Amy has done work in various construction-related fields, including design and contracting. She is experienced in the application of the Ontario, Alberta and International Building Codes, specializing in fire protection and life safety. Amy has also developed and presented a number of building code seminars relating specifically to Parts 3 and 9 of the 2006 Ontario Building Code (OBC) and the effect those changes have on the design industry.
