    Yorkville Tour and Networking Reception

    IDC in partnership with the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) is bringing a fall tour event that will let members get to know the city's retail, outdoor and residential design as well as upcoming projects and changes to the Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood.

    Craig Patterson is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Canada's most-read retail industry news publication, Retail Insider. He is a retail analyst and consultant at the Retail Council of Canada, as well as the Director of Applied Research at the University of Alberta School of Retailing in Edmonton. He has studied the Canadian retail landscape for the past 25 years and he holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws Degrees.

    • Yorkville Avenue - a number of new construction projects that will turn the strip into a ‘Rodeo Drive'
    • Avenue Road - Yorkville Village Shopping Centre, a modern luxury centre, with high-quality fixturing and even a unique sound system. Eric Sherman, Senior Real Estate Manager at First Capital Realty'ss Yorkville Village, will give us a tour of the overhauled space which has been transformed from the former Hazelton Lanes.

    • Bellair Street -  the ‘Retail Insider Headquarters’

    Tour will follow with a networking reception in a stunning, minimalist space with floor-to-ceiling windows, The Gardiner Museum’s Terrace Room has spectacular views up and down Queen’s Park and across to the Royal Ontario Museum.
